Make Burmese text readable, portable and consistent across devices.
Pyidaungsu is the official national standard Unicode font for Myanmar text. Unicode text stores characters consistently, so it can be searched, copied and shared across compatible apps and devices.
Zawgyi is a legacy, non-standard encoding. It may look correct on a device that has Zawgyi installed but appear out of order or unreadable elsewhere. Unicode is the recommended choice for new documents and digital publishing.
Install a Myanmar Unicode layout that matches your workflow. Keyman offers downloadable language keyboards; KeyMagic is another Myanmar keyboard option. Windows and macOS also include built-in Burmese input methods.
Type or paste Burmese text below. The preview updates as you write.

Changing a font alone does not convert Zawgyi text to Unicode. Convert legacy text before publishing or archiving it.

Meet the professional associations and shared spaces shaping the local technology community.
Established in 1998, MCF describes itself as the umbrella federation for Myanmar’s official computer-related associations, technical groups and committees. Its work spans ICT education, events and policy dialogue.
The Myanmar Computer Professionals Association (MCPA) represents professional and student interests. The Myanmar Computer Industry Association (MCIA) is the industry and enterprise community. Both are part of the MCF network.
At the Universities’ Hlaing Campus in Hlaing Township, MICT Park hosts ICT businesses and offers facilities, connectivity and industry-development activities. The official operator also highlights Kanaung Hub’s support for early-stage tech businesses.
A second ICT Park was established in Mandalay. MCF’s current overview notes that the site was lost to fire and was being re-established; check with the relevant organizations for the latest operating status before planning a visit or activity.
Follow association announcements for membership, training, networking and event updates.

Make a plan before you shop. Compare the complete setup, not just a headline price.
For study and office work, compare a recent processor, 16 GB memory if the budget allows, SSD capacity, display quality and battery life. For design or gaming, check the dedicated GPU and cooling.
Start with the workload and total budget. Balance CPU, GPU, motherboard, RAM, SSD, power supply and case airflow; make sure component compatibility and warranty are confirmed.
Use the retailer’s current catalog or contact the shop directly to confirm price, stock, warranty, assembly and delivery before travelling.
Visit an established retailer or authorized reseller. Ask for a written receipt, serial number and warranty terms. For custom systems, request an itemized component list and test the assembled PC before pickup.
Prices, availability and service coverage change. Confirm details directly with stores in Yangon or Mandalay.
Confirm compatibility, stock, exchange terms and the exact warranty in writing. A lower upfront price may not include the same service or coverage.
